Hi Christine, happy surgiversary. It's mine, too! I hit my personal goal last week. Now to maintain it! Actually 5 more lbs wouldn't be too bad but it is really coming off slowly now. Just had my slowest month, only about 5 lbs. But I feel good and diabetes is controlled, and that's what's important! Hi to all the Nov 05 group! Kathy 285/150 - 5'7"

Im right with ya Christine, I started out at 270 and now weigh 164 so we are close in weight and date. I am not losing right now. havent lost in a couple of weeks, and have only lost about 5 or 6 lb in the last 6 weeks. I need to get kick started. i noticed that i drank caffinated coffee yesterday and i was hungry all day. I am like you, if i never lose another pound i am thrilled with what i have lost. I cant complain. What a wonderful gift we have been blessed with. Good luck, Carla

Today is my 11 month surgiversary. I hit the -100 lb mark on Wednesday and that was the best gift I received this year...especially after struggling the past few months. Of course along with the recent restart of losing, the skin is going and going fast, but I'll manage. I now have 7 lbs to get to my Dr's goal, and 17 to get to my personal goal. I really hope I can hit 150 by my annual, but if I don't, darnit I lost 100 lbs and I have NOTHING to complain about! Happy 11 months to everyone! Christine 257.5/157/150 (or 140 if I get my wish)

Lisa; I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your mom. Stress always slows my weight loss. I don't know if it's a chemical reaction within my body that holds on to the fat during stressful times or if I let my eating slip during those times. By the time I get back into using fitday.com to see if it's an eating issues, it's usually resolves itself within a few days and I start losing again. Start using fitday.com (or calorieking.com if you prefer) and journal everything you're eating and your exercise. It should help give you insight where you maybe need to make changes to kickstart the fat burner again. Also, exercise releases all sorts of good endorphins, so the more you do it, the better you'll feel and it's a great way to channel some of your grief into something positive. I do some of my best reflecting while on the treadmill Blessings, Jennifer

Topic: RE: What are your 1 year goals?
It is hard to believe that we're fast approaching our one year "re-birthday" as I call it. I am 16 pounds above my goal and weight loss has all but stopped the past 4 months. I keep bobbling between the same 3 pounds but I'm ok with that since I dropped all of my weight in the first 6 months and have had this time to mentally catch up to my body. I am scheduled for PS on the 17th which is 1 year and 1 week since WLS. The PS said that she would get about 15 pounds off of me with the surgery so even though I may not make my goal by 1 year, I know I will make it there someday soon. Congrats to all of you!

Congrats! It's nice to see that most of us are making goal, or at least getting closer to it. I'm stuck, have been for almost 3 months. Starla

Excellent work, congrats! I will be close to goal by the time of my anniversary, but I think I will miss the goal. Oh well, I couldn't be happier for my weight loss so far. Good for all of us November 2005's!

That is such a great feeling! Last weekend i ran to taco bell for my department to pick up lunch. I had a huge order (56.00 at taco bell.. lots of stuff) The cashier said to me you are such a tiny thing how are you gonna eat all this? Tiny? I had never been called that ever, can't belive it has been almost a year for all of us... hasn;t it been a great ride? Kim
