Christine;
Congrats on shopping in your on closet! Isn't that the best? I'm running out of stuff that I bought years ago.
I don't know how tall you are, but at 210, your probably a size 7 or 8 in panties. I'm still wearing my 8s, but they're really baggy and if I pull them up all the way, they're higher than my pants. My hubby keeps making fun of me, so I broke down and bought a six pair package of size 7s this weekend.
Blessings,
Jennifer

Congratulations on your loss, Christine! I'm approaching onederland too and it's just so cool.
You're lucky to have clothes in the closet. Last year, I went nuts and tidied out all of my old (smaller) clothes in a fit of "I'll never fit in this again". Now I'm regretting it as I have to buy new *everything*
Don't wait on the undies tho! I've just caved in and bought a new lot and it feels so good to have them fitting properly!

Topic: ANYBODY DOWN 100 YET?
Not me, just curious. I'm down 78, so getting closer. I hit a 3 week plateau and thought I'd never start losing again, but it's been coming off 1-2 lbs. a day again the past few weeks. Woo-Hoo!!!
So, has anybody hit the 100 lb. mark yet? Be pretty amazing I think, but I know it's possible for some of the larger folks to lose their first 100 really fast...

Don't leave me out--I missed this latest poll.
I had surgery on Nov. 14th
Have lost a total of 78 lbs. so far.
Topic: excited and impatient!
Well, I was cleaning out my closet and found 2 old swimsuits that I don't even remember wearing (which means they never really fit), and some dresses and skirts I bought "for when I am thin" about 7 years ago.
I didn't realize I had this stuff, and darn if it didn't all fit (well, the one denim dress is snug, but give me a month!)...I am so excited!
Now I am 3 lbs from my first mini goal of 50 lbs, and 11 lbs from ONEderland. I am so excited and impatient to see it all happen! I realized I am now the same size clothing as when I got married, even though I weigh about 25 lbs more. Funny how our bodies shift around.
Now if I can only figure out what size of new undies to buy...haha!
Smiling and beaming...

(3 lbs from SPA DAY! wahoo!)
Topic: RE: OMG, when will it end?!?!
I've got an obese hamster in my tub drain too. Thankfully I had an abundance of hair to start with, but now hubby is noticing it's alot less, so I KNOW it's a problem.
I went and got my below the shoulder hair cut into an above the shoulder style with a million layers and I also got a few different colors of highlights to make it look fuller. I also only wash my hair every other day (this alone could drive me to drink) and I use a super thick conditioner to avoid pulling out any extras. My hairdresser told me that the hair that falls out does begin to grow immediately and that it won't last forever.
I get all of my protein and vitamins in too, but honestly, the shorter style seems to have slowed some loss, I guess simply because I'm not pulling it as much when I pick it out.
Wish I had the answers, but know you're not alone!

Yes- my thick hair has thinned out.
Terrible, but not depressing. Hair can grow back, in the meantime I am enjoying the weightloss.
One positive of the "changes" is my skin has cleared up!
Small sacrifice IMO.
