Yep, napping is my current hobby. Doc says I am anemic, will start iron infusions soon. Have added red meat, and liver (yuck) to the ol diet. Must say, I feel better when I eat liver. (did I say yuck?). Oh, also I notice I get more tired when I don't drink enough water. Duh! Good luck!

Topic: Goals for May!!
Okay, it's a brand new month and summer will be here before you know it! What are you goals for this month? Your goals can be weight loss related or personal goals. I am going to try and spend more time relaxing and doing things for Diamond this month. I am constantly ripping and running around my children. I will still take care of my motherly duties but I will do me! On the weight loss front, I am going to work on increasing my water and also increase the intensity of my workouts. Summer is fastly approaching and I want to tighten up my abs and arms a little more. Diamond

Topic: RE: Bra Issues
I had major bra issues too and discovered the Body by Victoria add a size bra. This thing is padded and very comfy. For the first week I wore it I swear I couldn'ts top staring at my boobs. It was nice to have them in the "right place" for a change! =) I know they are expensive but what I did was go into a Victoria Secrets store and get sized. I tried one on and loved it. I went home and got on ebay and ended up buying two bras for $30.00, at the mall they were 32.00 each! Good luck! Kim

Topic: RE: Plastic Surgery Questions... Help please
I can't answer the insurance question. I just can answer how I over came the body image thing. If you look at the bigger picture about what can you do now that you couldn't do when you were Obese. Or how much healther you feel now then when you were Obese. How longer your going to live now than when you were Obese. If you did a list of why you wanted to lose weight. Then re visit that list. Good Luck Deborah

Topic: RE: HELP! 18 months post op and ALWAYS eating!
Hi; yes, I get the shakes also. I eat balanced meals; and also wonder what my blood sugar is at. My doctor tests through blood test for it during every visit; and it has been normal. (of course on the doctor days' I'm feeling fine). I started at 306 and now weigh 170. (I'm 5'9) . I believe our bodies are going through ALOT of adjustment with the GB Surgery; so the shakes thing maybe just a normal outcome. I'm going to bring it up at my next visit in a couple of weeks and see what he says. I'll post his anwer for all. mark g.

Topic: Plastic Surgery Questions... Help please
HI all... Does anyone know if Oxford Liberty Plan covers plastic surgery?... I'm at the bat wing, belly hang, back fat and we won't EVEN discuss below the waist... To be honest, as much as I hated being fatter, in an odd way I'm even more embarrassed of my body now than I was before the surgery... I'd appreciate ANY input, THANKS!!

Hi Kim What kind of things are you eating? I find that if I eat simple sugars such as crackers or bread, that I get the shakes two or three hours after I eat. I almost feel like the floor just dropped out from under me. I also have noticed that they do not keep me full as long. Try eating a balanced meal three thime a day with a veggie, a meat and a carb item. This will help you maintain your weight so that you will not lose anymore. Snacks are also good, but try a piece of cheese or some apple. If you start losing again, maybe you should add a high calorie shake to make up for the calories you are not getting in, and do not forget those vitamins. I still keep track of the calories I get in every day, just so that if I start losing again, I will know how many extra calories I need to get to maintain my weight. I started out at 225 and 5 feet tall. My goal was 125 pounds. I now weigh 104 pounds, but am well within my normal BMI. ((((((HUGS)))))) Dawn
