Everyone rocks!!! Looks like everyone is doing great!! So far at 6 months out I am down 133. I exercise at Curves 4-5 times a week. Now that it is warming up I hope to get more walking in!! Thank goodness winter is over!!! Get my water in most of the time. I have some days where I don't get it all. I eat protein first. Need to go through my closet more. A lot of my clothes are too baggy. Keep up the great work everyone!! Surgery: Oct 4,2004 Weight then: 383 Weight now: 250

Topic: RE: Five Months Post-Op, and Feeling Fatter then EVER! ...Am I CRAZY??
Hi! Sorry for now answering sooner, been helping my nieces husband find a job. I will stay in touch with you as long as you do me. You have come a long way and we WLS members are proud of what you have accomplished. Thing to remember is try to be positive and ignore the negative feelings. As long as you look at things in a different light; things will start changing in a positive way for you. I know, I use to say I was always a day late and a day short; I finally realized that I was always claming bad things to happen to me and once I started claiming and truly believing that you can get through anything and its gets better every day, it will!

Hello, I think I am right on target, my 6 months is Oct. 1st with a 81 pound loss. I do not have a problem with any foods (have not tried sugar of fatty foods as yet). I eat my protein first and take my supplements religiously. No soda and only 2 bloody mary's in 6 months, I have a 3 oz. cup of coffee daily. My water consumption is not as high as I like but it is near me 24/7. I do cardio exercise 6 days a week with some weight training. And most importantly NO COMPLICATIONS. My blood work will be done Wednesday at my 6 month check-up. I am VERY happy with my process and the exercise makes my 81 pounds look like 101 pounds. I want to wish everyone continued success in their weight loss journey and can't wait for the May Roll call to see everyones success. ..¸(`'?.¸(`'?.¸¸.?'´)¸.? Surgery Date 10/13 highest weight 250 current weight 153 (only 3 more to hit the century club) BMI 23.9 (normal!) I had a rough start with several blockages but the last couple of months have been doing well. I still throw up about 1x a week. I cant eat any meats so protein has been difficult. I found a good protein bar with only 1 gram of sugar in it. So I nibble on that all day. I am happy where I am, but want to lose another 28 lbs. Its going very slow now, about a pound a week. I am loosing hair like crazy though. People ask me all the time if I would do it again. There is no way I would go through what I've been through again, not for any amount of money, but now that I'm through it I am very happy I did! I feel normal now... What a wonderful thing!
