Susan Congrats on your 96# loss When my weight loss stalls, I up my water and protein, and watch those nasty carbs. Usually within a day or two the scale moves again. Sheryl

I LOVE IT!!!! People I havent seen all winter, are now seeing me and telling me "I didnt recognize you" .... And the ones who have been watching my progress (coworkers mainly), are telling me "You are gonna blow away!!!" ..... It's a great feeling, isn't it? I had another wow moment too -- went to Wal-Mart to get a new pair of jeans ... and I am now in a size 18 zip-up jean. Down from a 28! That was an awesome feeling too. Now ... if I could just make it to that 100 lb loss mark! I've been stuck for quite some time now ...and need to lose just 4 more lbs, then I'll be there. That is great news. Isn't it wonderful to be able to say "I lost 100 pounds". I also use the elliptical for exercise and it was so nice of your MIL to loan you hers. Keep up the good work. Janice

It's official. Blows my mind that I have lost more weight than my friends 13 y/o daughter weighs. The skin is brutal but Im working on it. My mother in law brought me her Gazelle because she can only do a few minutes on it and since my bf left town for work, I havent been able to get to the gym. Ive been improvising at home but didnt have anything cardio besides my stairs. Ive been saving to by a gazelle but had to send that money to bf. Ill be on it tomorrow as I worked my butt off today, dancing furiously with 20lbs of weights in my hands for 45 minutes. I cant believe I can lift the weights, let alone be active with them. Weight loss is slowing but Im using fitday to force myself into more shakes and water. Ive decided that I should take advantage of not being hungry and get all my drinks in then, something more solid if I feel like it. Going rather well today. My size 16 jeans are too big and I just bought them a few weeks ago.

Topic: RE: Five Months Post-Op, and Feeling Fatter then EVER! ...Am I CRAZY??
Hello Peter, Man oh Man do I understand! The part about looking in the mirror and some days seeing a person who lost weight and some days seeing the same person before surgery is a strange feeling. Recently I brought a couple pairs of pants for the spring because some of my other ones are just too too big. BUT...when you put on the ones that fit you still feel like a FAT person regardless of the amount of weight you have lossed! Honestly, I feel better wearing the ones that are too big because then I feel like I have done something. Is that weird or what? MotherLove

Thank you family for your words of encouragement. I guess when someone else says how much you've lost it always sounds better. It is so good to know that I am not in this war alone. OCTOBER IS AWESOME! "Starting Over Never Felt So Good"! MotherLove
