Thank you all for giving me a shoulder to cry on. I am feeling much better and have been dry eyed for two days now. Gee was that a trip! I am so happy to have such wonderful friends here that help me thru those trying moments.

I haven't experienced the IUD. If this was a one time thing maybe it's just hormones. Maybe you should call your doc and ask him/her what could be up. Karen

Hey ladies my body is really going haywire my cycle has always been regular you could actually set your clock by it....I have been using an IUD for the last 5 and a half years....well this month I had my cycle as usual and then a week later I started spotting and having cramps again...now yall no the first thing that popped into my head was 
I can not be pregnant...I done came to far to be getting pregnant...so I took a test and it was negative but the fact that this happened really freaked me out has anyone else experienced anything like this????

Lady A I think it might be something in the air with that full thing I went through the same thing last week....I think it was because in mid may I started getting hunger pains and I hadn't had a hunger pain in over 7 months so for the first few days they were just ongoing I mean I would eat and still have the hunger pain but I would feel full it was really weird....I just ignored them and kept eating my usual stuff and now they have went away again....hopefully they are gone for good this time

I know how you feel... I am glad you posted because I wonder the same thing a lot. I can eat a lot one day and then the next, after a couple bites, I feel sick. I know that when it's time for my monthly I could eat everything in sight. I hate that... but at least I realize it now. At first, I thought that something had gone wrong with my surgery. Thank you for posting this question and thanks everyone for their comments, it has made me feel better knowing I'm not alone in this. I do feel tha****ching what I eat is so very important especially now that I'm almost 7 1/2 months out. Thanks again!

Kathy,
FYI... your hormones are stored in your fat and as your fat dissolves your hormones have nowhere to go and thus its like your on your period 90% of the time....
When I was doing the WLS research I found this info and so I expected it, but its a common occurrence post-operatively.
I man I work with had WLS a couple of months ago, and he was just asking me the same question (do you feel over-emotional and want to cry at times???)
So.... if it makes you feel better its not just something that happens to women who have WLS!!!
Also - you might find your quick to get angry too - this again is due to the hormonal changes.
These emotional moments tend to pass over time and thus when your weight stablizes so will your hormone level.

Tanya, I am sending a huge hug your way! Feel my arms around you, a much smaller you, beautiful and happy! I am very familiar with the hormonal surges, my poor DH has now had to go through menopause 2x. I was not prepared the hormonal mess that accompanies this weight loss! Just look up and lean on Him when you feel down! This too shall pass, and you will be thin then also! YEAH, you! Smiling through your tears, LeeAnn

I walk everyday at work and recently I was walking and people were honking and yelling out thier windows to me "You go Girl" "keep up the good work" etc.. by the time I got back to work I was a mess from all the tears I think this surgery is alot more emotional on us then what people tell us before hand. Just reading your post made me feel better I now know that I am not the only one feeling like I need a strait jacket.
