Rachel, Follow your surgeons orders... Talk to him and see what he thinks. As far as that clock... it NEVER shuts up. If it is not ticking for one thing it is another. Hang in there and use this time to prepare your body, home and soul for the little one. Call your docs and see what their advice is for now. Judy

Hi Everyone! Hey, I've got to get my picture in here! I'll work on it this weekend! I started at 332 lbs. That's what I weighed on my surgery date. I'm now at 212 lbs. (I'm currently on a plateau that's lasted three weeks ) My goal is 150 lbs., but I'll go a little further if my body wants to keep going!

Rachel, Please don't think that a miscarriage is in any way your own fault. I had three of them, 2 before my first child and 1 before my second child. The first one shocked me to death. It never occurred to me that I would have a miscarriage. Then the second one in a row made me feel like, oh well, what did I expect? The fact is, 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in a miscarriage. That's 25% and that's a big percentage, and they are not your fault. One thing my doctor did after 2 miscarriages was check my progesterone (sp) with a uterine peel (yuck, don't ask how) and found my progesterone level was low. So we started treatments and the next pregnancy went fine. Maybe you can have your doctor check for that before you start trying. Lisa G
