Topic: Second Wave of Hair Loss?!?
Hello my fellow september posties! I wondered if anyone was experiencing a second wave of hair loss? My hair started falling out right "on schedule" at about 4 months post op and stopped noticeably at 8 months post op or so... just like many of you, as I remember us sharing stories about it. Well just now, almost at a year post op, I seem to be starting to loose hair again. For the past week or so I've noticed it coming out a lot more... a lot more hair in the bath water, just like before. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm trying to think back to what has changed that might be causing this..... ugh!

Hi Jen: First, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Isn't it great to experience how much better life is when you're healthier and happier? I'm so happy for you and your success has inspired me more than I can express. I guess that we all are becomming "addicted" to shopping now that we can go into any store and get what we want in "normal people" sizes. May your second year after surgery be even more successful than the first. Your friend, Jesse

Jennifer, You are so beautiful. I looked at all of your pictures. What a knock out figure you have now!!!!!! I'm so jealous!!!! I can hear your personality come through this post, and your pictures totally match that also. Honey, you almost look NOTHING like your before picture. I'm just blown away by your transformation, seriously!!!!!!!!!! You look so happy and you seem to be such a fun and carefree girl. You will find that special someone soon, if you haven't already. I can totally see you marrying some hot, gorgeous man and having a beautiful wedding and beautiful babies!!! I wish I had done this when I was 26 and not 32. What a difference that would have made in my life. Congratulations, Jennifer. You have worked so hard, and look at your beautiful results!!!! Kim 400/229/170 EDD 4/25/05 7 weeks pregnant!!!!!!

Topic: 1 year out..How much can/do you eat??
I will have my 1 year anniversary on the 15th and am wondering if I am eating too much? I started at 263 and now I weigh 160 so I think that is fine, but I am starting to eat more and I feel I am hungry again in about 1-2 hours. Any input would be appriciated. Thanks Harriet in KS

Have a great birthday, 40 huh, it is only going to get better. If not, you had 40 great years. Ha! Anyway, I really appreciate your skill, and thank you for your knowledge on my surgery. I never had any problems. Thank you, again Sylvia

Topic: One Week To One Year!!!
Hi Everyone: It's time for the regular Friday installment. A week from today will be my one year anniversary. To say the least I am more than pleased with I have been able to accomplish. I'm still at 190 pounds (and not stressing). The Regional Sales Meeting at my company began last evening and it was a blast for me. A lot of our sales people have not seen me since before my surgery and they marveled at me all night. They did not ask how I lost the weight but were happy for me that I did. I felt good because they said I looked great and were not hung up on my decision to have surgery. I know sometimes that people will dwell on the fact that you had WLS and express their opinions, either positive or negative, on that fact. No one even noticed how little I had on the gigantic dinner plate they gave us to use on the buffet line. I have to say that life is great and I'm greatful that WLS has really improved my quality of life. Till next week, Jesse 373/190/-183
