Topic: Six month anniversary
Today is a milestone for me. I had my RNY on 8/22/06! I feel so much better. I am on very little medication now and my blood sugar is low and stable! I am so thankful for this incredible "start over"! I am 55 lbs from my goal weight and I never thought that would be possible. I will be 50 years old in a few weeks. My only regret is that I did not have this life saving surgery sooner. I also thank God for this wonderful web site and all of the support I find here. Have a great day everyone!

I took a couple before pics (they are in my profile) I looked horrible. Never knew I looked like that.

I took before pictures (well starting a few months before surgery) in pictures prior to that I always made them do from waist up.
Now I make it a point to do several with each passing month.

I am doing about the same as you. Yes things are slow. I know I shouldn't but I weigh myself like every other day, goes up 2 down 4 back, etc but sticking around the 156. Heard any tips of how to speed things up. I am not real sure either where my goal should be. What are you shooting for?

almost 7 months out on March 8th...I have changed alot of my eating habilts. I still can only eat limited amounts. I will exercise more now that its getting warmer. My sister is 21/2 yrs out and is maintaining..We will succeed! best to all....Sue.

I was 222 mainly before surgery..i did get down to 215 the day of surgery due to the liquid diet..I am 160 now --top wt for me was 232...so that is similar to you...open RNY 8-8-06. Sue.

Way to go girl. After the dilations we have had to go through, its nice to have something nice like this. I finnally hit my 100 pounds the 15th my 6 months will be the 25th, but i also have 60 more to go. Way2GoGirl Bekah
