Connie, Sorry to hear that your appointment didn't go well. Remember that we're here for you whenever you need us. Didn't mean to worry you gals. Can't believe how fast these days went by. OMG! I was getting worried about you Tammy! Glad you got back on here before we all called the search and rescue team. I joined Curves. 30 mins Friday and today. Walking 2 miles a day the days I don't go to Curves. I had my annual visit to the gyno yesterday, didn't go real well. Nothing I am ready to talk about, but I'm trying to come to terms with what I was told. I had blood work done and should know more next week, hopefully by then I'll be able to talk about it, right now I'm still trying to pull myself together. I know you ladies are there for me when I need to vent tho, so I promise I'll be coming here to talk when I'm able to. Okay, my weight is WEIRD but that's ok. Right now I'm 174. Still 6 lbs higher than my lowest, but going back in the right direction! TAMMY ~ you go on with your BAD SELF and your 183.5! WOOHOOOO! That scale is finally moving again for ya girl! Hugs to you all!!!! BTW, my latest profile entry includes a thank you to all my August surgery buddies. I LOVE Y'ALL!!

Sherry, Sorry to hear what you are going through. My prayers are with you & your husband to get through this. I'm so happy that he admitted he had a problem and is getting help. Remember to take yourself too. Don't forget your bodies needs. You're going to need to stay healthy to get through this time. May God guide you through this time in your life. Tammy

Hi, funny you mentioned getting off caffeine..........my appetite is getting more and more too, been off caffeine ALL this time and just now decided to get back on it about 2 months ago.......1/2 dozen 1 , 6 another as for as caffeine goes.......(?) good luck on it though...........just to let you know you are not alone on the appetite thing.... 572/455/320

Wow, I didn't post since Thursday....sorry girls.... Jeez I can't remember if I exercised on Friday or not. Saturday & Sunday we were at camp & yesterday we drove 3 hrs home, then I worked for 8 hrs. LLLLOOONNGGG DAY... but well worth it. We had a great time. This morning, back to business. Went for a 3 mile bike ride. Got my order from bariatriceating yesterday...love the achievOne Vanilla nut flavor...yum yum. My daughter got her braces off today... She looks awesome. 2 down, 1 to go... hahahaha How's everyone else doing? Wow, almost 150 lbs. That's great. I really need to lose about another 30 lbs. even though one of my doctors thinks that I should be about 110 lbs. which would mean about 50 lbs. more to lose, not just 30 lbs. I don't believe that I ever weighed about 110 lbs., maybe in elementary school, so that's really not a realistic goal for me. I'm also going to increase my exercise too. I'm hoping to join an exercise boot camp in my area when they have their next group meet. Good luck and thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one who is fighting their old appetite. Jackie

I am in the same boat the same 3-5 lbs up and down and minc is since late April/May as well. I want to loose another 20 lbs but have been bummed that I have not done so - I though maybe I had streteched the pouch or something (always a neg. though pops in the brain) and I feel like I am eating more over the last week. So maybe this is just in my mind since Weight Loss has slowed down. Keep me posted on any changes you have and what might have kick started it all back up. I am going to start with more protein when I eat - exercise more and drink plenty of water. Maybe I should find the pletau busters and try that.

I am facing this too and last week I noticed eating more and snacking and I am worried I might havve streched my pouch (I guess that isa normal fel for me everytime I eat something extra) I just worry that my pouch will stop working and I will gain a million lbs. I guess I am worried about failure but I have lost close to 150 lbs and want to loose another 15 - 20 lbs and I have my mind convinced it is over and I wont loose the weight so I am glad to see someone else is haveing the same issue as me with the food and appetite. I guess I will start back to making sure i eat plenty of protein, no snacking and water and also I will cut out the caffine. Thakns for letting me rant and also the tip on caffine and the appetitie.

I too have found that I am eating more now than I did when this journey began. Some of the meats I eat, are still small portions - seems to depend on how 'dry' they are. For example, chicken breast that is broiled or grilled but is kind of dry, I can only get about 1/2 to 3/4 down. But if it is chicken salad (mixed with lo-fat mayo) I can eat a full chicken breast on a good day. 1/2 pound of shrimp (pre cooked weight with shell on) goes down ok, but nothing else. Rare, juicy steak is about 4 or 5 ounces. Got to say though, that I can really do myself some damage if I snack too much. Get in way too many calories and do not necessarily ever really feel full. My average week day goes this way: B - Protein drink mixed with my morning coffee MS - nuts and/or 100 cal cookie pack L - Chili with cheese from Wendy's S - Tablespoon P-nut butter D - Chicken or shrimp or steak, taste of veggie/salad ES - Taste of fruit I also do lots of drinking getting at least 64 oz in before dinner and usually getting between 12 and 24 more oz during the evening. Hi Sherry, I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I am having issues with my boyfriend as well. 9 years and 3 kids later, he is not happy and does not know if he wants to stay with us. While he is trying to figure out what is best for him, I get to try to keep all 3 kids from knowing what is happening to our family and still manage to work full time and take care of the daily houshold stuff. Ihave started losing again due to stress as well, but not near like you have. Be strong. The fact that he was finally able to tell you and that he went and got help is huge. Unfortunately, you are going to have to be string enough for the two of you. He will need to focus on overcoming his addiction and he will be leaning on you a lot, but I'm sure you already know that. Your faith in God is the most powerful thing to have at times like this. I am tired of hearing that God will only give us as much as we can handle, but in my heart, I know that it is so true. I will keep you and your husband in my prayers and feel free to email me if you just need to vent. I totally understand what you are going through. Hang in there. Debbi 289/187/160
