Ya'll ready for next week?!?

Ok, So I've been counting down for the last 2-3 wks anxiously awaiting July 6. So I knew last Thursday was 2 wks & this Thursday would be 1 wk but it just dawned on me last night that my surgery is NEXT week!!! LOL! That makes it sound so much closer...to me anyway. So I've lost my mind...oh well!!! I'm so excited!!!! Told my mom I wanted some Smoked Turkey & dressing before I start low fat diet (friday). I also want to go to my Aunt & Uncles seafood stand & get some fried catfish & shrimp . & gotta go to SnoBiz for a snow cone . I'm so bad. Food funerals...next 5-7 days.

Hi Melissa, My date is July 6 as well I will keep you in my thoughts as we both go under the knife. I know what you mean about food funerals but I have to be careful if I gain any weight before surgery my Dr. will not do it. I will have a last meal to say good bye just not sure what that will be yet. Prayers and well wishes coming your way!! Kim

Reality just hit me last night that I'm having surgery NEXT WEEK!! I do not get to have a food funeral as I'm still on liquids, and have been since 5/22, trying to get as close to the goal set by the doctor as possible. Mys surgery is the day before your's but we will see each other on the losing side. Lurnia

My surgery is July 6 too. I also had a couple of food funerals oh my chinese food and mexican food. Im scared to gain any weight so Im on the protein shake (yuk) jello and salads. I will stay away from food on 4th of July. If I gain my Dr. will cancell. I'll pray for both of us.
