Got on the scale this morning and guess what????? I am FINALLY not OBESE anymore

That is great Carolyn!!!! You have done a great job.
I had my body fat done at the beginning of my Kaiser Options class ayear ago. It was a little over 50% I think. I teased my sister that I was half fat and half water. We got a good laugh out of that. I wanted to have it done again to see if I am losing fat or muscule but my program does not do your body fat anymore. I have my 6mo appt on the 21st and went this morning to have the labs done. 7 vials of blood. YIKES!!

Thanks Karen. I thought it was pretty awesome too!! Since I have a large bone structure on a short body it's nice to have a better handle on where I "should" be weight/fat wise!

I also had RNY on 20June06 and until I ran into your homepage, I thought I was the only one dealing with plateau issues at this stage post op. Great article. I wanted to request you as a friend, but I dont know how to do it. I would also be interested in being put in touch with other RNYers who had theiir surgery on 20Jun06.

Off day for me too:
B: 4 slices deli turkey, one slice american, one lo carb wrap
L: 3 slices pizza
S: Dannon light and fit, 8 oz whey protein drink
D: Homemade turkey chili, 1/4 cup snap peas
S: 1 ounze cheezit crackers
WAY to many carbs yesterday. Something in the air I guess.
Water: Over 100 oz.
Vits: all in on time
Exercise: 6 miles eliptical.
