Hey everyone ! Well congrats ...most of us have made it 1/2 a year !!! WHOOO HOOOO... I am down 78pounds..Kinda slow I know, but I am losing I still have a lot more to go. I posted two new pics on my site underneath my latest 6month update !!! I am still a big mama, but oneday I will get there I have never been able to wear Levi's and the other day I bought my 1st pair ... lol that was a super exciting wow moment for me ;) Congrats to everyone so far !!!!!! Congrats to you!!! I havent lost as much weight as I had hoped but I have been losing inches like you. I think at this point my body has been changing around where I carry the weight and FINALLY I can tell my belly is starting to shrink!! woo hoo I started at a size 26 pants 22/24 top and am in 16 pants and XL tops... lane bryant 14/16s are too big... even some XL shirts are too big in the arm pits! I havent hit a plauteau but Nov the scale went up and down up and down and ended up losing just 1lb that month. I wasnt keeping track of carbs because my NUT didnt say too... in a support group the NUT there said a max of 60g a day. I took a look at what I was eating and was way over the 60g. Starting in Dec Ive been aiming for 30-40g a month and so far lost 6lbs this month! My monthly average so far has been 7-8lbs so this month may turn out to be my best ever. I think its a matter of finding what works best for you. A girl in my support group counts only calories (not protein, fat, carbs) and found thats what works best for her. Good luck!

Just wanted to share that I am now down to a size 18 from a 26-28. I have not lost as much weight as I had hoped that I would but I have lost many many inches! My cloths have all been falling off of me and I could only wear the ones that were made of stretchy material and those were miles to big. I went to get something for a Christmas party and had to get a size 18. What a wonderful Christmas present! Isn't this surgery fantastic!!! Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday season!

I am 6 months post-op today and down 110 lbs... WooHoo... If you had asked me 6 months ago if I thought I would be down 110 lbs this soon I would have laughed at you!!! You know as I sit here writing this I really can't believe that I have come this far! Sometime I think it's all a dream and I'm going to wake-up any minute now.
