OKAY JUST GETTING CURIOS NOW!!!!....
I lost 10 lbs in October as well. But I lost 11 lbs in September, so this seems to be my trend. I will say that the last two weeks I haven't really moved too much. Hovering between 177-179. But this is okay, I know I've lost inches. This is just the way my body does it. I've lost 62 lbs so far so I'm pretty happy with that. Considering I had my surgery the 28th of June. Everyone's doing great!
All the best, Debra

Sounds like everyone is doing about the same. This board is wonderful...just when you think that you may be doing something wrong....you find out that everyone is doing the same as you are!
I did lose 12.5 last month but I also had my gallbladder out....I think that may account for the 2.5 pounds! VBG
Hope that everyone had a great weekend!

Me too! I went from 185 to 177 in October. The most horrible month yet!! But, in Sept. I went from 201 to 185 so I figured that was really good, it helped make up for October's small loss.
So far in November I have lost 4 lbs, in just 6 days so PLEASE let November be a better month- for everyone!!!!!

49 lbs to go!
Hi to all you June bugs!
This was a great post Lisa! Thanks! I had kind of a rough October too! I too lost about 10 pounds but my weight loss has been slow the whole time.
I know we are not to compare and trust me I am so very grateful for the weight I have lost. So far that number is 68 pounds. I have been stuck for 2 weeks again.......grrrrrrrr.
I did go do some under water weighing at a University in my city and the Dr. told me I had a very very slow metablolism.........surprise, surprise!
It just seems like everyone is losing so much faster and more than I am. I get frustrated! My husband had the lap band surgery 4 months before me and lost #105 in less than 6 months.
I have never before lost 68 pounds in four months and again I am very very grateful for that..........ok, I am done whining now!
I am just gonna hold on and know that it will come eventually. I am feeling so much better already!
Congrats to all of you! This is not easy! Each day is a new day! Have a GREAT one!~

Hi all,
I lost 12 pounds in October, found out that the breast biopsy found a malignant lump, had it removed, and am waiting to start radiation. To all you women over 35........PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have an annual mammogram!!! My daughter, age 39 had a mammo, they found and removed a benign cyst. I'm 64 and I've lost 62 pounds since the end of June. My clothes and my bras are hanging on me!!!!

My honeymoon is DEFINITELY NOT over!!! I am seldom hungry and fill up VERY quickly. I went to a Bat Mitzvah and a Sweet 16 this weekend and I know that 6-7 months ago I would have gained about 7 pounds. I'm DOWN 1 pound since Saturday AM and I am a happy gal!!
Love,
Betsy

Mine was about 11 pounds. And I agree, that is still pretty good. And no, I don't think the honeymoon is over as I lost 9.5 pounds in the past 2 weeks. Exercise DEFINATELY helps!! Didn't exercise much in October, started up again, and lost wonderfully! Back to the gym...
