You are building muscle my dear and that is where the 1/2 lb has come in. You are working out and you need to up the protein so you do not go into starvation mode, also up the calories. Anywhere from 800-1200 is fine and you will lose like crazy and don't forget the water! Wendy Daly

I've been going back and forth and not really got much further in the past couple of weeks as well -- but any time it seems to go up - - the weight goes back down with time. It is kind of disappointing when at first I was able to lose 10 lbs a week, then 5 lbs a week and then 2-3 lbs a week and now it's more like 2-3 lbs every other week -- but at least it's heading in the right direction. As long as we are doing what we know we are suppose to do - - that's all that we can do unless we find out we need to change our set process. Since we all here are "living this" as we post, sometimes - - all we can do is to keep on going the best way that we can, talk with our nutritionist and or surgeon, and make the best choices that we are able with whatever information we have on hand. 'Hang in there -- you're not alone.

HEY ERICA i can relate my weight loss is crawling the last couple of weeks. I mean i dont know perhaps the nuts and strawberries would help you. IT might be worth a try. I used them at that 4-6 week stage and never stalled. GOOD LUCK! I bet your body is melting inches, and muscles forming. GOOD LUCK BE WELL lisa

Hi Erica!! I am going through the same thing!! Sadly, my "stall" lasted almost 7 weeks! I have changed my exercise habits this week and am going to the gym for an hour in the morning before work. I am hoping that exercising in the morning will speed up my metabolism. It is sooooo frustrating, isn't it?? I have been taking my measurements and have not seen that much of a difference... I have a problem as I cannot walk... I am on crutches with lots of knee pain... so I do not burn calories very quickly. Someone suggested increasing my calories but I am scared to do that!! If you try, please let me know how it works! I see you had your surgery from the same MD group I did.... Did you call Jessie or Diana Rosa to ask them what they thought?? Good luck, my friend! Please let me know how things are going!!! Your wls friend Sandy
