DAY 11....
here i am, day 11 of my "stall". i know i can change this, i am doing what i can. i know my biggest problem is not enough protein and most likely not enough food in general! the only effort i have been able to make this week is drinking more water. (water is FREE after all!)
STALLS SUCK!!!

SORRY to hear your in day 11 of a stall i havent hit huge ones of those yet. it must be hard.
I do think you need keep your intake up so your body releases the fat not hold on to it. GOT TO eat!!!! UNFORTUNATELY, i dont have that problem and i get hungry and i do eat. I just make right choices and small portions.

thank you for the encouragement! i already have 55 oz in today! i got a chicken blt salad from wendy's for lunch, that is very yummy! my problem is MONEY! well, that and i am not hungry too much. but i do always try to eat and i think i make pretty good choices. when i have a bad week financially and the kids are eating a lot of pasta, soups, etc...(you know, the cheap stuff!) i usually will opt to not eat with them. so the past 2 nights, my "dinner" has consisted of cheese and crackers. not that cheese is an awful thing, it is protein at least!
well, i will break this barrier! God willing, my scale will be DOWN tomorrow!

I can relate alot of times when the kids are eating dinner i dont want cause its to carb loaded i just have a protein shake in the blender. In walmart i bought a large powder ADVANT EDGE shakes in chocoalte if i make it in blender w/ ice and splenda and some chocoate extract and a banana i like it ....I paid proly $13 for a huge thing of this stuff that i have had since i had the surgery now. IT lasts and its my quick easy dinner on the go or if they eat carb loaded stuff.
HARD! WHEN i eat out i eat like bad probablye eat refried beans side order at taco bell or a KFC side order of mashed potatoes and the dinner is under $2 ....
ITs not always easy eating healthy i find is more costly! BUT i do keep a large package of cold cuts from walmart in the fridge for snacks and hard boiled eggs ( i think u dont like eggs if i recall), its hard!
Well your in my thoughts and ill get that whooshie fairy over to your home!

Don't worry about the stall! I hear it happens at the the 4 mo. mark and is a big one that can last 3-4 weeks! But you are doing great! Stay on track and you'll make it through!
I haven't lost anything for a couple of weeks now and I am frustrated!
I need to eat more protein and keep chugging the water !

oh lisa, you can email me anytime! i appreciate it greatly! this is not the easiest road to travel...
ya know, i do like hard-boiled eggs. what i should do is boil a dozen of them and keep them in the fridge for when i need something quick! i LOVE cold cuts, but they don't last very long in my house! i never want to tell the kids "don't eat this or that, it is for me", so they tend to help themselves!
but those are some very good ideas. gonna go home and boil me some eggs when i get out of work!

YEs i keep EGGS hardboiled on hand for a quick fix. AND its loaded with protein and eggs are inexpensive for the most part.
I also keep bacon cooked up to steel a piece now and again.
MAYBE bye stea**** there cheap meat to cook up in a flash.
I used to keep when i did atkins chicken thighs on hand but thats not
something that i like on my pouch to much now...cold chicken wont cut it . MAYBE buy a box of cheap hamburgers that you can fry up 1, 2, 3 or get a large package of chop meat and make burgers to keep ready quick to eat!

You are right. Stalls so totally DO SUCK! For seven stinkin days I have been teetering 180, 181, 179.5, 180, 181, 180 GRRRRRRRR!!!!!
I'm so ticked. It is just taunting me. That dang blasted scale KNOWS how bad I want to be in the 170's and it just won't let me have it!!!! I'm so mad. My *BIG* goal was to be somewhere in the 150's by Christmas. OBVIOUSLY, that is NOT going to happen.
I know I'm just panicking. I'm afraid. What if my pouch is too big? What if I don't lose all the excess weight? What if something goes wrong and they have to reverse it? What if this is IT???? What if ..what if...what if.... I just know I'm not where I wanted to be and I really want to get there. I'm doing what I'm suppose to be doing. So now what?
*sigh* "Oh whooshie fairy, where ARE you?"
