This is how someone posted it in the NY forum ( i will cut and paste) being im not alone here: The answer is this: Leftovers are not good for us to eat because when food is cooled and then reheated there is a chemical breakdown in the already prepared food which is not good for us and causes us to feel The enzymes in the meat etc break down to a level which does not digest well in our bypassed organs. I was advised to stay away from leftovers! Hope this helps you out a bit! THE odd thing was i read this post over the weekend and then not thinking had a leftover lunch monday and didnt sit right and made me want to start this thread. I have never "DUMPED" or ate anything that would cause a sugary dump but i think a few times i have from leftovers never makeing the connection till yesterday. HOPE this helps others! LISA

Lisa, I have never had a problem with leftovers but now I will watch for that in the future, I think one time on beef but I blamed it on the hot weather we were having but maybe it was the reheated steak. well for the most part it seems to be ok but I will watch.... Lisa thanks again ~hugs~ Debra P

Yeah, leftover meats have NEVER worked since the wls. I do eat a lot of leftover homemade soup. My hubby made a big pot and that's what I have for lunch many days and dinner when the rest of the family is doing carbs. I've only had trouble if I over heat it. Good luck! Kristie
