I had fibroids in the uterus also. Doctor did the wand thing himself but he talked me throough it. not so terrible, however if the pelvic ultra sound is the one where you drink lots of water , then hold it for the ultrasound it is on the outside . I had more trouble holding it in.But that was back in 87 no not 1887, 1987. Still they have come a long way since then. Don't worry. I know you will be fine. Just keep your sense of humor about the test. I'll be thinking about you.hugs marcia

i do have to drink 32 ozs of water and hold it til after the ultrasound, so YEAH!!! maybe that means no wand for me! hopefully everything goes well. i am starting to drink my water now, giving myself an hour and 1/2 instead of just an hour. then i got to hold it for a whole other hour + the exam! keep your fingers crossed that i have no accidents today! hugs
