I eat Mullers high protein pasta ... that way I can eat pasta and get my protein in.... I can only eat the rottini pasta, and it has to be cooked well... a min or two longer than it says on the box. The other types the mac or the spgh both are hard to digest for me.

I was sick every day until I changed my vitamin. Have you tried not taking your vitamin for a couple of days? What kind of Vit are you taking? The prenatal Vits made me so sick! My doc office suggested Optisource, it says to take 3 a day but they said I only needed to take one a day. I feel like a million after the change.

Barb,
My surgery was 6/11/04. I've lost 60 pounds so far.
I'm all over the place with what I eat and when. I eat dinner foods at breakfast and switch it around all the time. First of all, I usually just pour whatever my meal is, into a 1/4 cup just to make sure it's that amount. But let me give you today's menu.
Breakfast
1 scrambled egg yolk w/1 slice cheese w/salsa ( I hate egg whites now)
Snack: unjury protein shake with water (only 90 calories & 20g protein)
Lunch
2 teaspoons salsa, then filled the rest of 1/4 cup with canned red salmon
Snack: unjury protein shake with water (only 90 calories & 20g protein)
Dinner
2 teaspoons fried rice, filled the rest of the 1/4 cup with bourbon chicken cubes. (I had to wait half an hour after eating because when I ate it, I still thought I was hungry but it went away.) I must have just wanted more because it was good.
Hope this helps.

Watch out Amy,
You are in the early stages of my disease. Since surgery, I've turned into a "Scale *****" I am considering starting SW Annonymous meetings. Wanna Join? I've turned into a total scale ***** since my surgery. I love the scale. I wake up with it, use it before bed, and it's a red letter day if I get to weigh myself at the Doctor's office in the middle of the day. LOL!

Congrats on another pound down! I wish my scales would move, I'm on another two-week plateau it seems.
I broke down and bought a digital scale last night, a fairly fancy one that also calculates body fat percentage. My old scale was your basic dial type . . . and depending on where you stood on it, if you leaned forward a bit and put more weight on the balls of your feet, you could get a "lighter" reading, LOL.

Congrats!!!
I can remember before surgery I did not even own a scale, but know I am a little crazy about it. Nothing beats the feeling of the number going down. Keep up the good work!!

Finally, the scales show I've lost another pound making my grand total 43 pounds since surgery date of June 21. I can tell by my clothes that I am making progress but it sure feels good when the scale confirms it.

Way to go. Feels good to be able to fit back into some of the clothes we held onto.

Hi Barbara,
My surgery was on June 10th and so far I have lost 45 lbs. What I ate yesterday was:
Breakfast: 8 oz Protein drink made with 8oz 1% milk, 1 scoop designer whey protein powder and 1 packet sugar free Carnation Instant Breakfast powder = 30 grams of protein
Lunch: 1 egg scrambled with cheddar cheese and ham.
Snack: 1 fat free Quaker Granola Bar
Dinner: 2 baby back pork ribs, 2 Tablespoons spanish rice, couple bites of green salad with 1000 Island dressing.
Snack: 1/4 cup Carb Solutions ice cream
Total calories 918, protein 57
I hope this helps. Best wishes at your upcoming doctor's appointment
Huggs!
