HI Dawn, I am in the same boat as you. Thick hair and my hair has just started falling out. If I as much as run my fingers through it...my hand is full of hair. It is scary. But all say it will grow back. Let me know if your Dr. tells you anything you can do. Cherish-Louisiana Lap Rny 6-9-04 218/170 -48

Mines is too. I went to the doctor to see if I could take propecia or rogaine and she told me that I would start growing hair in places that I would not want it. She told me to up my vitamin E and more protein. In addtion, I ordered the Niocin shampoo. That is suppose to help with stimulating new growth and ease the hair loss. ~Sonya

Dawn, You are scaring me! Mine seems to have quit falling out. Could it be your gallbladder meds? One of the side effects of urso is thinning hair. Hannah

dear tracy about 3 weeks out, the area around my left incision was really bothering me, the PA prescribed CELEBREX and within 2 days i felt great. the celebrex has not bothered my pouch at all. i also have plantar fascitis and bone spurs so i know how you feel. have you had any physical therapy? that has helped me in the past. best of luck to you lilykate

I have a bad case of plantar facitis that is *slowly* getting better, I think. Prior to surgery I used to use ibuprofen to keep the pain in my foot manageable, and tylenol just doesn't cut it. My surgeon suggested getting a scrip for Vioxx from my GP. Does anyone else use Vioxx or any other anti-inflammatory that they think works well and doesn't hurt their pouch? Right now the foot pain is really limiting the amount of exercise I can do! Tracy

Shout it from the rooftops, girlfriend, woohoooooo way to go on those 64 lbs. Amazing how much better you feel, huh?! At first I was very reserved about telling people I had this surgery, but now I'm so convinced it saved my life, that I find myself showing my lap belly scars to total strangers in the supermarket, hahaha. Congrats, BJ

You might be lacking in EFA's . . . (essential fatty acids). Pretty cheap at health food or nutrition stores. I take Nordic Natural's Pro-EFA, one capsule daily. -BJ
