Judi . . . seems to me you are right on target with your weight loss. Several of us had surgery around the same week as you and are right at the 55-65 lb loss mark right now. Don't get discouraged! -BJ

Seems we are all around the same place. I had my surgery on 6-18-04 and last week my weight loss was 63lbs. But then 3 days later I gained 2lbs. (same scale) so now I am back to my -63lbs.....I'm not getting on thatt scale anymore. I was getting very discouraged. I seem to be stuck at 63lbs.

Judy, Go to the site listed below, tell them your starting weight, and how much of your excess body weight you would like to lose. They will give you a chart that shows how much you can expect to lose at what month. I think you are way ahead of the game. Here's to a job well done! HI Judy, Don't get discouraged. I lost 50 lbs so are and it's 3 months today for me. I think the amount you loose depends on your starting weight. If you are heavier you may loose quickly at first than as you get to a lower weight you loose slower. I was considered a "light weight" at 260. so at 210 now, I am happy with my weight loss. Be happy your loosing and not gaining.even 5 lbs off is better than a 5 lb gain. Though I know wouldn't it be great if you woke up one day and all that excess weight was gone. but, unfortunately it does take some time. so good luck with your journey , I'm sue you'll do great. ~ Mary

Um, I'm losing a lot slower than you are. 30 pounds in 11 weeks. That's about half of what you've lost. I'm really discouraged. Too much pain for this result.

As another liteweight, your loss is supposed to be slower. Percentage wise we lose the same are the others but ours will be slower. Don't beat up on yourself or get discouraged. Hannah
