Hi Joanne, I'm one of those people who want a bicycle, but I decided not to wait till Christmas. I'm only 5'1 so I needed a 24 inch bike and when I saw one in my local paper for $25.00 I snatched it right up. I'm still pretty shaky on it and only ride in front of the house but it makes me feel like a kid again. Take Care Jackie

It is September 17. I refuse to think about Christmas until at least after Halloween. Speaking of Halloween... it is September 17 and I've seen at least a dozen houses with graveyards, monsters, ghosts, and spider decorations. Why do people rush the seasons and the holidays? By the time the real deal gets here, it's old news and people are looking weeks ahead to the next. And on the same rant.. I hate having to buy sweaters in July and bathing suits and shorts in January. School supplies needed for September were darn near sold out three weeks after school let out in June. Where did this conspiracy start? They're all in on it... retailers, store owners, manufacturers. But anyway, I hope you get your bike.

Did you ever think about how you attitude and wants have changed after surgery. So many people I know would like bikes for Christmas this year. This just really amazed me. Since my goal is to ride a bike with my grandchildren, you know it's on my list along with new cloths that fit and a coat. Mine wraps around me. I am now 99 lbs down and counting. See all lighter.
