I too LOVE cheese. I can't get enough of it. Buy my nutricianalist said it's bad cause it's high in fat. So I really eat alot of chicken. Red meat makes me sick. I am also on a subway kick right now. I live the Italian sub minus the pepporoni. Yummy!!! Talk to you all later. Kristy

I had a WOW molement this week! I was on a retreat with co workers and some of them were using a jet ski. Someone asked me if I wanted to try it, and I SAID YES! I was really nervous to do it as I new everybody would be watching me. The first WOW was that when I was handed the life jacket, I was able to wear it after my co worker (and I didnt have to adjust it to make it larger). The next was that I got up on top of the thing without making a total ass of myself. Once I got going I loved it. I have noticed that I am beginning to feel so young these days, and really ALIVE! I have SOO much energy and I am SOO happy. I remember the days of watching other people have fun, and accepting the fact that I was too fat to do those things. I am finally beginning to feel ABLE.

My surgeon is very easy about our "diet" so I pretty much eat everything although it has to be MOIST and it can't be bread of any kind! I'm still finding it hard to eat pork though unless I cook it in a crock pot for hours. My entire family is getting revamped as far as their variety of menu goes....they eat what I eat which means no sugar( I use splenda) and I don't fry anything anymore. It seems to be working,I've lost 90lbs in about 5 months. Cathy

hi lara, well since i had my surgery my complications have been few and far between as well. i too was diagnosed with an ulcer 3 weeks after surgery my entire pouch was black as soot burnt from an ulcer. i still have it, but in all honesty i don't take my meds the way i should. my doc prescribed me previcid, and carafate but i can't handle the carafate. my ulcer can be annoying and there are things it doesn't like one is coffee!! i do still drink it though i'm such a bad girl!! just take your meds and watch what you eat stay away from spicy anything!! if it's lightly spicy i do alright, but anything like chili will put me in the hospital. becareful and you should be fine. kriss 353/252/199
