I had a plateau that lasted a month. I uped my water, and protien and exercise. I have finally started loosing again but very slowly. I am convinced the exercise is what is doing it. I do not think I have a metabolism any more, and exercise is the only thing that seems to boost it. Good luck. Katie

I'm not sure if they're limiting the line, the website lists lots of flavors, but our local Walmart in Alpena MI is limiting their varietys of Blue Bunny yougurts. (only 4 flavors this week. They used to have 8 - 10 flavors) They said it was a corporate decision and the only way to get the situation changed is to call 1-800-WALMART to complain. I did this today, and they took down quite a lot of information. I'd urge everyone to do the same. If you want the bunny at your store, call your store contact number and request it. It might help? In any case, I also filled in the link given. Pam

Topic: RE: Hair Loss
I also am having some hair loss. I'm not sure I'd classify mine as severe though. I will say that I AM getting in my protein, taking all the vitamens and such. I think this hair loss isn't just what you AREN'T doing, but the major change we've all had. Surgery. Basically our bodies are recovering from and adapting to maluntrition. Anyway, I'm told the hair grows back so I'm thinking positive. If anyone has a magic cure for the hair loss blues, please share! Pam

Even though you're unhappy... consider this... when have you ever lost 50lbs in 5 months? I don't measure food or count calories, but maybe you're eating too many calories?? Maybe try having the shakes as meals, not as snacks and cut back on the carbs (the french toast can be high in carbs). Yesterday's Menu: Breakfast: Protein Shake Lunch: Half of a grilled Balsamic Chicken w/ Mozz wrap(minus the wrap) Dinner: 4" Junior Roast Beef and Provolone sub from Wawa (minus the bread) with pickles. evening snack: 1.5 oz of light popcorn hmmm.. and I may have snuck in a few soy chips just before lunch, but only 2 or 3. In between, instead of snacking I try to get in all of my water. Also... do you drink w/ your meals??? Try not to... it will keep you full for a longer period. Good luck!! Michelle

Hi Alice! Congrats on the loss! Unfortunately there's nothing you can put on your head or in your mouth that will stop the loss. It's called Telogen Effuvium and it usually stops itself within a few months of starting. Unfortunately, several events can trigger it (such as surgery or rapid weight loss). I bought a wig because of how thin my hair is now. I know this too will pass.

Anjail, First of all... congrats!! You are doing SO well! I had my surgery on the same date My weight loss has stopped and started SEVERAL times since surgery. I find that the best way to get things going again is to up everything.. water, protein, and exercise! If that dosn't work, try switching it up a little bit. Do a different exercise, or switch your foods around a bit. GOOD LUCK! Peace, Michelle

That's awesome Tom!! You've already done SO well! I think as long as you are excersizing and being healthy, you'll do fine! You've already lost over 100lbs! I think 250 will be easy for you! Even if you can't get there in a year, it couldn't take much longer at the rate you're going. Good luck! Peace, michelle

Hey Tom!! OOOH, Tofu! I haven't even thought of trying it! I'll have to give it a shot! I'm not sure if the squash freezes well, but I have refrigerated it. It's fine heated up as long as it still has some sauce on it Otherwise it dries out. BTW... where did you get your Century Club card on your page? I want one peace, Michelle
