Topic: TNT Help
Hi everyone,
I think you all know by now that I am training to walk a marathon in January at Disney for the Leukemia Societies Team in Training. I am having trouble with my fundraising. I had sent out well over 100 fundraising letters but have only had 2 donations. I always post my website at the end of any of my posts. I hope you guys dont find that too annoying. Anyhow, my plea to you guys is for your help. If you could help me with a donation no matter how big or small it would be soo appreciated. You know I think about the surgery we have all been lucky enough to have. For me it was a second chance to live my life. Yesterday my friend at work gave me some sad news. Her friends niece was diagnosed with Leukemia and is not doing well at all. Her only chance at survival is a bone marrow transplant. Wow. Thi**** home with me. Im an adult and was given my second chance but without a miracle this little girl will not make it. Anyhow...I know we all have so much going on in our lives but if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Also if you know anyone else who may be intrested in checking out my website please send them my link.
Lots of love,
Michelle

Topic: RE: sorry took me so long
Oh wow! What a total turn around!! Congrats! I know it's common for some patients to have regret initially after surgery. It didn't happen to me, but I know several others here locally that it did happen to. Congrats on your progress and improving your health!! Wow! Keep up the good work!!

Topic: RE: Yippee...6 month checkup...
You are doing great!!! Wow!! Glad check up went well and that you are on the right track!! 85 lbs in 6 months is still VERY good. They say that the "average" weight loss is about 15 pounds lost a month ON AVERAGE. So you are above average on your weight loss!! Yay!
