Oh gosh YES! We've been engaged for a year now....no wedding plans as of yet, but we've been living together since December. To me, he is the best man in the history of the world, next to my father, but I think I have a hard time being objective here! And when we met, I wasn't even looking....he is actually the uncle of a former coworker of mine...can you believe that? Anyway, it's wonderful, HE'S wonderful, and thanks for the well wishes.... That is wonderful news on your engagement! I wish you the best. I've met someone too. In fact mine is different in that I've known this man for over 7 years, we worked together at my last job. I left that job 6 months ago. A month after I left that job we met at a benefit for a old co-worker. One thing led to another and we started dating. I can not imagine not having this man in my life. I never thought of we would ever be a couple. And I too had stopped the hunt. Gave up. Decided it just wasn't out there for me. He told me he'd had a crush on me for over 3 years but never said anything because I was engaged to someone else and its not good to date soemoen you work with. I'm happy.
