I have lost 74 lbs since surgery March 22 but I can still fit in almost all of my clothes. Now my jeans are loose and I am sure I could go down at least a size in them but still, I don't understand how I could lost 74lbs and not be looking much smaller. So far the only people that have said they noticed any weight loss is the people that know I had surgery. No one else has said a word. This is especially strange since people have in the past asked me if I had lost weight when I had not. I don't know but this is very frustrating. The scale is going down and that is great but I really want to look better too. Does anyone else have the same experience with losing but not looking like you have lost? It is just so weird. Nicole

Nicole, Did you take "all-over" body measurements before your surgery? I didn't, and I REALLY wish I had! I, too, don't feel like I'm down enough sizes for losing almost eighty pounds. I just know how much better my knees feel! If you're like me, my weight has fluctuated so much for the past twenty years that people around me are accustomed to my weight going up and down and they're just not noticing the recent weight loss. The main thing is that YOU ARE LOSING POUNDS and that's what counts. Best wishes to you in your journey! L Y N N 298 / 219 / 150?
