I had surgery on 03/24/04,and so far everything has been pretty good. I am down 145 lbs which is amazing to me, I am starting to feel a bit weak now and I am assuming and thinking that it is because I am not getting in my protein supplments. ANyone else have this happen to them or have heard that this woudl be the case,

Hey you are a terrific loser, but the quick loss also involves loss of muscle. Take in the protein drinks no matter how nasty they taste; at least until your weight loss slows down. You also need to exercise to maintain muscle mass. Good luck. Louis-51

Holy MOly! 145 pounds WOW!!! Congratulations! How awesome is that! I agree with Louise, alot of weight loss = muscle loss. I would say also to keep up that protein and exercise to build some muscle back. Thats alot of weight to loose so quickly I am sure your body is going through some major changes and it places a bit of stress on your system hence being tired more often etc... Best wishes to you! I assumed that and I was pretty much wrong. The reason for me was vitamin deficiencies. If you haven't had your bloodwork done recently go in and have them check again. I ended up deficient in thiamin, potassium and iron. If left unchecked these things can cause some serious problems. Always best to check with the doc. Dina
