I went para-sailing!
This past month has been so busy, it's been a real whirlwind. I've barely had a chance to sit down at the computer. One of the most remarkable things I've EVER done was on Friday...I went para-sailing!
It's been one of those things on my list of "things to do before I die".
I couldn't have done it before my WLS surgery; I was too heavy. Now, no longer too heavy, the only thing holding me back was fear. I sucked it up and decided to go for it, and it was incredible. I don't regret it for a second, although it was a little scary. But, I did it, and now I have bragging rights.
I'm down 54 pounds, and as I move closer to my goal, I hope to mark more and more accomplishments off my list.
Every day I'm so thankful that I had the courage to go forward and have the surgery that got me back out into the world & doing things again.
Hugs,
