I am a little over 3 months out-I have no appetite
One of the things that I have learned so far on this journey is that there is no longer any meaning to the word "normal". I think what you are experiencing is not abnormal. If it weren't for the fact that I have a 7 year old, I would have a really hard time in that I never want to eat. She reminds me when she's hungry. I have absolutely no desire to eat anything, so I keep to my standard cottage cheese - it goes down easily and I do like it. I only eat because I know I have to, and do need to watch that my cals don't drop too low. My doc wants me to get 600 cals a day, and some days I'm at 400. That's why the loss slows down. The body starts going into starvation mode if it does not get enough, and weight loss slows down. When I get closer to 600 cals I typically lose more. Typically, I'm losing about 3-4 lbs / week.

Try to put yourself on a schedule eat 2 to 4 oz of something (mostly
protien) at least 3 time a day. even if you don't fini**** at least try.
The cottage chees is fine, but try an eat 3 meals a day and don't forget
the water. Its very important. Are you taking vitimins too?? Keep your
health, your appetitie will come back and then you will be a little scared
at times as you can all of sudden start eating again. Good luck your
doing just fine,. 3-4 lbs a week is pretty average. Could you do that
before surgury. I no I couldn't.

I definately don't have a problem with my appetite. I have been able to eat just about anything. I still have a problem with beef. My main craving right now is V-8 Juice! I can't seem to get enough of it. I have lost 88 pounds and am feeling so much better. I agree, I think everyone is going to have different experiences.
