The challenge will not officially end until this Friday (every day helps a little), but because of the holiday weekend, we will allow people to sign out with their current weight any time between now and midnight Friday. I will figure your loss - I need your weight at the finish time that you choose between now and Friday. By Monday I will get them into the spread sheet to determine our winning losing board. Thanks Reenie for the reminder! Gee, June has gone by quickly!!! Joy -51 lbs GO MARCHERS!!

I started at 250 on June 1st, and am now down to 234, with a weight loss of -16 POUNDS FOR THE MONTH. I found that cutting waaaaay down on carbs really helped me lose the weight, as did being sick, but I wouldn't recommend THAT method to anyone. Weight on New Year's Day was 299. Weight presurgery was 292. With this recent weight loss, I am down -65 from Jan. 1st: WOW!!!!!! Typing this has just brought the reality of my weight loss home, loud and clear!!!! Some people count their start weight as of their day of surgery weight (my surgeon does), but hey, I DID lose those 7 lbs on my own, and I think they count towards the total weight lost. I AM SO VERY, VERY HAPPY (but still unable to hear well due to blocked eustachian tubes), and I am actually looking forward to wearing a swimsuit this weekend! LET'S HEAR IT FOR ALL MARCHERS !!!!!!!! OK now that Joy posted our starting weights I haven't lost as much as I thought. From 230 to 215 so -15# is still great but I am NOT excited that I have to wear a swimsuit this weekend. My extended family are all going to a water park and I and a little frightened still to be showin off this big a** body. LOL I think that the Vegas trip will be soon enough for a swimsuit but they are forcing me and I am going but not without a little fight

I'm a little disapointed in myself. I only lost 8 this month. I hope things change for July.... This is harder than I thought it would be. Anyone else feel that way? I'm down 50 since March 23...

Don't be so hard on yourself! Any month before surgery that you lost 8 lbs would have been cause for celebration!!! It is natural for it to slow down, but it will keep coming off! Joy -51 PS. Post your current weight to the finish line when you want to tally your loss, please.
