Low blood pressure, anyone?
My blood pressure was never high, even before surgery, but since surgery it has really dropped. The last time I was in the doctors office it was running about 90/50. I can tell in the last few weeks it has dropped more. (Maybe exercise is causing it?****ep getting light headed when I stand up. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions to bring it up a little?

Low blood pressure runs in my paternal side of the family. I went to the doctor last week thanks to a cracked tailbone due to a now fat-less butt on a water slide! LOL
My BP was 100/70 and the nurse didn't show any concern. We ought to look up what's normal and when to be concerned. If anyone discovers anything, please share with the rest of us.

I think you should prioritize your fluids for several days. If you are not better then, call your doctor. As one on the injured list, let me assure you that you do NOT want to take a fall that might harm you. Also, no hot tubs for you on vacation, no steam room at the health club. I think a tendency to pass out when you stand up is no laughing matter. So maybe call the doctor even before you do the fluid thing. It would be a shame for anything to ruin your vacation...and that's the least of it.

I had to snicker at the hot tub and steam room prohibition. I will be doing well to find a cold shower. I will be living in the back of my daughter's pick up truck, hiking in the mountains. She is not big on campgrounds or hookups, so I suspect we will be experiencing "nature" up close and personal! Not a trip of luxury, I assure you!
But I will have adventure stories to share upon return!
I have not actually passed out--just gotten ringing in my ears and sat down quickly. I will take care of myself--promise!
Thanks for the concern...
Joy
