Hey, arthritis sufferers -- liquid Vioxx!!!

My husband experiences fear, too. He was happy to learn that many lap pools are never over your head. Also, most adult classes involve the fear factor as most adults who can't swim either have a history of fear of the water or are afraid simply because they can't even begin to imagine floating. So you wouldn't need courage if you found the right pool (shallow) and certainly not with the right teacher. I'll keep you posted about the headgear that lets you not turn your head. I really liked snorkeling on my vacation because I couldn't believe I didn't have to experience pain to keep moving. Gano
