what did you eat today?
Confession is good for the soul, right?! Because what I've eaten today has NOT been good. I had a protein drink for b-fast along with a cup of coffee, but then my daughter and I made choc chip cookies (from scratch) because it has been raining for over a week here and there is nothing left in the house to do! We baked the cookies to take to our neighbors and friends, but I have eaten about 4 cookies. I need to have my daughter deliver the cookies before I do more damage!! I had some turkey chili with shrd ched cheese for lunch. I'm feeling so guilty about the cookies, but my daughter SO loved baking them with me this a.m.!
So - that's my day so far today. I'll be good for dinner - maybe a salad. But, no more cookies for me!!!

Well i as most days have done bad also. I have had a eas shake this am and about 15 oz propel water. then me and my girls went to mc donalds and i had almost a double chesseburger minus the bun....guess that dont count since it came back up when i got home.....well thats it so far. as for dinner i am trying anew recipie with velvetta, taco meat, rotel and ranch style beans...we will see if i eat it or not.
I woke up with a bad cough about 6 this morning, coughing so hard I threw up. had 2 cups of coffee with fat free half and half and splenda. Went back to bed at 9 slept until 4 this afternoon!!! Got up ate a salad with a piece of ham cut up, romaine lettuce, cheese, tomatos and bacon bits(which have 3gms of protien in a tablespoon and a half) with some ranch dressing. Im not even hungry now, will have to make myself eat something later on!

It is always a fun question to see how everyone else has eaten! I never do real fantastic on my weekends because I never know when to eat. And if we are out running around, I might imbibe on chicken nuggets, like today. Today was the loosest day I have had so far, so keep that in mind when you read what I ate!
Okay here it is as best I can remember:
Large Propel
3 Wendy's chicken nuggets
2 bites of DH's Costco hotdog
2 bites of a Costco frozen chocolate frostie thing. I would have eaten a WHOLE lot more had I not been afraid of dumping. I love that incentive!
Probably 4-6 oz of Costco roasted chicken
1 bowl of a mix of low-carb cereals (Total Protein, Atkins Banana, Special K Low carb). I had a whole serving of the Total as I wanted the vitamins in it and just had a smattering of the other 2 in order to smooth it out for me since it's not my favorite. I also had it with the LC Carb Countdown milk.
Seems I ate a heck of a lot more than that, but I guess not. I am considering digging into the Tillamook Smokehouse Steak Nuggets pretty soon though.

I was getting bored with breakfast and couldn't face another protein drink or egg. My hospital support group had a great one. I do my portion of malto-meal and, while it's hot stir in a tablespoon of lowcarb peanut butter. A little 1% milk and I'm done with breakfast and it is *really* good. I love the taste of peanut butter and this way I have no trouble with the texture.
