I'm Shedding
Well folks, the day has arrived. I have to finally admit that I'm losing hair. For the last couple of weeks, I've been blaming the animals everytime I found a stray hair here and there. It's me. It's not coming out by handfuls, but everywhere I turn, there's a stray hair. There's one on my keyboard as I type. They're at the bottom of the tub, in the sink, on my pillow. I'd better not have anyone over for dinner for a couple of months. Hair in the food... Yuk!

Oh Connie,
I was noticing it more and more as well, and I finally gave in and had 10 inches cut off the length, hoping it would take some of the stress off my head and hair. I think I am still shedding, but it doesn't seem so bad. The good news is my hair looks extremely healthy, so maybe most of it is in my imagination.
Hugs,
Mo

Va..
I bought some flaxseed oil at GNC, but they are huge
softgel capsules.
I don't think I should try to swallow these. They are full of liquid so I can't cut them up. Is this what you use or is it in another form?
I noticed just a few days ago when I put mousse in my hair that my fingers are covered with hair. I take my multi-vits, calcuim, Liquid B12 and iron. Guess I should of been taking something more for hair

I fussed to my doc about the size of the flaxseed oil capsules. He said not to worry that they melt at body temperature. But if I was still worried to take them with hot coffee or hot tea. You will see a difference when you add at least 2000 mg of flaxseed oil, 4000 if your in a crisis. Get started NOW!!!
Good luck,
Va
You can buy plain flax seeds at a health food store, put them in a coffee bean grinder so that they get broken up and then sprinkle them on salads, in yogurt, etc. The large gelcaps probably won't hurt you because the gelatin melts very quickly, but I would check with your doctor. I do remember my doc saying that gelcaps were fine though.
