I've been losing weight super slow but ever sence I have been being "bad" (eating alot of carbs) I've dropped 3 lbs in a day....I wish I could get over this obsession w/food and eat for nutrional purposes rather then taste! Grrrr!
*Yummy recipe!*

Anyway back to this food addiction...Any tips...helpful ideas would be great!
So strange, but I have had a very stressful week and given in to my stress behavior - chocolate. Thankfully, not enough to dump, but I did seem to get a case of Atkins revenge! The odd thing is that I have gotten a jump start to losing out of this. Maybe because I drank an extra shake to make sure I got protein??? Anyway, I have lost 3 lbs in 2 days--haven't done that in a long time! (But NO CHOCOLATE TODAY!)

I've been afraid to say anything for fear that it will stop, but for the last week, weight seems to be dropping off quickly. I heard somewhere that in the third month, weight loss picks up for a while. Don't know how true this is. It would make sense though because by the third month, we are starting to eat more and our bodies probably don't feel like they are in starvation mode anymore. I'm now able to eat 1/2 a cup of meat, which frankly frightens me a little.

Well, the hungries could just be because your pouch is relaxing and not so swollen. But the cravings are probably just carb cravings because you are eating them. It's hard to get out of that rut, I know, and I have been no angel. I will have pizza on occasion, but because it was my son's birthday this last week I had thin crust veggie pizza twice this week.
The only way I know to get rid of the cravings is to get rid of the food that is causing them and white knuckle it for a week. One of the tricks I've used in the past is to prepare my food a week in advance. When I did Atkins I used to cook on the weekends and store away my servings in baggies or containers in the fridge and freezer. Dunno if that will help, but it seems to be a good method for me when I'm doing that.
BTW the recipe sound delicious and I'm going to try it. I need to get some cukes though. Reminds me of the cukes they have at the buffet where we go sometimes. They are so delicious!!!
