Small Pleasures
I have not been spending much time on this board as I am loosing much slower than the other marchers and sometimes the numbers get me defeated.... but today i experienced a simple joy that I thought I would share with those who can relate....
I went to the eye doctor to pick up my daughter's glasses and I actually fit in the waiting room chair!
Andie

Andie,
I am also a Marcher and a slow loser. I had my surgery on the 16 of March and to date have only lost 30 pounds. Did lose 10 prior to surgery so the small grand total for the 3 months is 40. The Dr. only sees the 30 pounds as the lose because I got weighed the night before surgery and the 10 pounds was gone already. Good luck with your lose and congrats for fitting in the chair.........
Hi Andie.. Please don't be discouraged. I know that it can be frustrating to see others weight loss as your is moving much slower. I know how you feel. I am losing much slower than everyone else as well, but atleast we are still losing. That is what I fall back on and sometimes it helps me.... To realize that I wouldn't be losing weight, merely gaining it if I hadn't had the surgery. Plus, this board is here for support and comfort and we will help you in any way we can, without trying to make you feel bad. We are all in this togather, and we are here for you.
Congrats on the waiting room chair...isn't it exciting?
Take care, we love ya!!! Leah
