yesterday I went off the protein drink : Breakfast: 4 pices of bacon Lunch: 1/2 slice of liver 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese Dinner: 1 Tablespoon of meatloaf 2 teaspoons of applebutter 1/2 slice of liver Snack: Sf oatmeal cookie and 1/3 mini box of rasins and of corse 64 oz. of water yesterday and then 12 oz. of water and cranberry juice mixed. Did I eat too much? Just wanted to know if I ate to much ? I am on a platue and I wanted to change something I was doing. Please any more ideas. I have lost 49 lbs I need that other pound off so I can start losing again.... LOL

Sarah, No you didn't eat too much, you are doing GREAT!!! I am so proud of you and miss 'talking' to you. Your body is just resting for awhile. Try getting about 90 oz of water or walking for an extra 15 minutes. these things help me when I am going slow. To have just now hit your first plateau is great and most of us aren't as lucky. You have less to lose than most too so you may be slowing down now. Good Luck!!! When is your next Dr apt? beautyhealthandyou.myarbonne.com

Plateaus are inevitlble. I'm not sure what the protein value is in what you did eat, but going off the drink will not resolve a plateau if you are not getting enough protein. Instead of going off the protein drinks, try having them at different times of the day, and up your movement. The items on your list that you could modify would be the bacon (high fat) - try turkey bacon instead. The other thing is the cookie - although it's SF, it's still carbs, and when you add them in, the body will burn those first before any stored fat. Just some suggestions. mgm -52

Hi Sarah, According to my calculations (actual mileage may vary) your count was 800 calories 39 grams of fat 53 grams of carbohydrates 51 grams of protein In my humble opinion, you're good on calories and the amount of food, but need to increase the protein and decrease the carbs. The juice has lots of carbs, but no fiber so you are absorbing every single one of those carbs. The other high carb food was the cookie. The bacon had 24 grams of fat. I wouldn't drop the protein drink. If anything, you might want to add another one to what you're already drinking. Everytime I hit a plateau (I think I'm the Queen of plateaus), I increase the water and protein and it gets things moving again. How long have you been on your plateau? Remember that it's not a true plateau unless it lasts 4 weeks. Just think of it as a stall. Connie
