Three Month Anniversary / iron

Today is three months from my March 2 surgery date. I'm down 55 lbs. I just realized I only have three more months of the honeymoon window! Yips. I better get in gear. For the first time in three months I can exercise. I had an iron infusion on May 3. Its just now kicking in (The iron is stored into the liver until your body makes new iron. Takes 120 days to get full iron benefit becasue takes 120 days for a cell to die off.) My tip for anyone anemic- get the iron corrected BEFORE surgery!!! I regret I didn't. The first two months I was in bed or a chair from chronic pancreatitis and anemia. I begin my exercise program today! I hope to loose more the next three months than I lost the first three months!
