I'm in the club!!
I'm officially in the half century club - yahooo! When I broke this plateau the beginning of this week, I really broke it. I lost 6.5 lbs this week - Yay!! Now I'm at -50.5 since surgery and -69.5 since Nov. My next goal is 10.5 lbs away when I will be at 250. I'm also looking forward to the day when I stand up, look down, and don't see any belly!!! Almost there!
I'm going to Fla for vacation in 3 weeks, and I had tried my bathing suits on (old ones) and had 3-4 that fit. I may need to do that again in aonother week - they may no longer fit and I might hafta go buy one - first time I've ever been happy about not fitting into a bathing suit
Isn't life just wonderful!!

-50.5

Thanks Sherrie - all I did different was to add a second protein drink before bedtime. I have my first one as soon as I get up. I read that by doing that it keeps the metabolism from shutting down at night and needing time to rev back up in the am. Maybe that's not what did it, but the timing was right!

Alright Marla! You go girl!!!
50 lbs is a huge accomplishment. I'm @ -47lbs and I'm also going to Florida...in 10 days. It will be so good to be able to keep up with everyone...my nine year old, and my 3 year-old Granddaughter. I'll be able to wear a bathing suit without feeling completely self-conscious and go on the rides, and not even mind having my picture taken. I'm so thankful that I was able to have this surgery.
I'm glad you mentioned having a second protein drink at nighttime. I thought about it awhile ago, then somehow forgot. I'm going to start tonight. Hopefully it will super-charge my weight loss too.
Keep up the fantastic work.
