Hello Fellow March WLS..Just found this site

I had Lap Band Surgery on March 10th and just now accidentally found this site!! Just wanted to say hello. Of course I will not be losing on the same rate as the RNY's..but my DR wouldn't do that surgery on me (and I cried all the way home )(Bloot Platelet Aggregation Disorder) BUT I must say... I was a great deal less scared and know that I will be a slower loser than RNY's..but I am likeing this Band..!! Hugs LInda

Glad you did what was right for you. I don't post here much. I find myself checking to see how much everyone else around my date has lost and then I get gloomy. I know I am not supposed to do that--it is just like the evil scales.

Hello everyone! I had surgery on March 29,2004.I just happened to come across the site and was very excited to know others that took the plunge.34lbs so far. I had the Fobipouch gastric bypass. I'm searching for new soft foods to eat. I'm open to suggestions.

Awesome that you went ahead! Just know your losses count double for taking care of your general health at the same time! Remember, once you've lost it all, it won't matter how quickly. I know that is easier said than done, but we have seen tragedies on this board, so are glad you will be healthy and losing weight. I know how disappointed you must have been, believe me. Gano
