Hi everyone. I am nearly out of my little Flinstones with iron. Has anyone moved on to a regular adult vitamin with iron -- the kind you take once a day? I am really tired of these little fruity guys. Thanks. Maureen

I take a regular vitamin and mineral tablet with iron twice a day. I gave up on those chewy vitamins the first week. I swallow them whole and do fine. I buy whatever is on sale. I haven't had any lab owrk since surgery but will in a couple of weeks. I'll see then if I am absorbing all that I need. Louise

I have been out of vitamins for about 2 wks. I can't find a good chewable one for adults. I got a liquid vitamin from the health store, it is ugghhhhh. I don't think I am going to be able to tolerate it. I just don't have any engery!!!

Thanks Louise. I'm trying to get away from the 2x a day route. M.

Hi - I had my surgery on the same day as you! I switched to Centrum chewables - they are an adult vitamin but taste better than the kids ones. I take one a day, although I also take additional iron and calcium, of course. Dee

My doc has said that by 2 months out I should switch to Centrum. I've been using the adult centrum chewables - they are orange flavor, but not that yucky taste the kids ones have. When I finish this bottle I'll switch to the swallow Centrum. mgm

There are some great adult vitamins that are 100% approved by surgeons for post-op WLS. They are PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE and digest in 30 minutes, so we will get their full benefits. One a Days and Centrum are NOT this way so you get about half or less of their neutrients. These from ARBONNE aren't horse pills either. You can check them out at beautyhealthandyou.myarbonne.com just click on vitamins/weight loss to read info or just go to shop online and then bio-nutira health and order that way. Also they are not expensive and if you put them on autoship (get a 1 month supply automatically) Arbonne will give you a 20% discount each month and a FREE product with your vitamins each month. I would also suggest that you take an additional calcium supplement, you are young and want to have healthy, strong bones when you are old!!

Amber - Is this the Complete Essentials for Women 1? I might just have to order these from you. Dina
