Hi Just wondering from everyone...what foods you find make you nauseous? I have found...for some strange reasons that most protein bars make me nauseous. I mean I like my bars alot and they get rid of my craving but like...2 minutes after I eat my bar the nausea starts. (eating too fast makes me nauseous too) but aside from that ... food wise...when you dont eat fast or too much... I am thinking the tiny amount of chocolate is doing it? hmmm.... Anyone else have any food related nausea? they should have a little turning green emoticon for nausea lol oh well the will have to do! Elizabeth M

Mine is also scrambled eggs. When I was back in the hospital in March with the pleural effusion and pneumonia the last morning I was there they served what I thought was scrambled eggs. Turned out to be some kind of egg casserole, with green onions and green peppers. I had eaten two or three bites then got seriously sick. Going down it wasn't that good!! Coming back up it was retched! Now I can even think about scrambled eggs without getting nauseated. Like right now!! Va Was/Am/Wannabe 232/183/130

Elizabeth - Emoticons: They are sorely lacking in a few. I've thought of trying to create a few just for wls patients, but it's down on my list of "to do's"! Nausea for me is relegated mostly to protein bars and protein drinks. I did like the Unjury, but the others I used to like and consume I can't hack now. Dina

Nothing and I mean nothing bothers my stomach. I can eat anything and everything. I can even eat more than most people. So I am very worried and also very careful about what I eat. I wish something would upset my stomach. Louise

The only thing i've had a problem with so far is sugar alcohol. Go figure.

I've made myself sick from eating too fast, but so far, the only thing that really made me ill when I wasn't wolfing my food was a "health" shake from one of those Jamba Juice competitors. I ordered a 12 oz peanut butter shake with added protein. I knew it was going to be high in fat, but didn't even think about the sugar. I learned the hard way that it contained 37 grams of the evil stuff. The nausea hit 15 minutes later when I was in Cost Plus World Market. Thank God they sell furniture because I just laid down on a sofa in an aisle and waited for my friend to finish her shopping. To make myself useful, I gave customers directions to different departments and offered my not so highly valued opinion on their purchases. Eggs have been a good staple for me. A couple of times a week I have an egg with grits. I wonder who the first person was who thought to eat what came out of the rear end of a chicken. Like most people, chicken doesn't make me nauseaous, but it's not my friend. Connie
