What kind of fruits and veggies are you eating, with summer fast approaching, I find myself wanting to try allot of the seasonal veggies and fruits. I think it good for others to see what others are having for new ideas.

My nutrionist told me to try the melons and other fruits that that are juicy as I needed the fiber content. Fresh veggies, I am staying away from green leafy ones except broccoli.

I can do most fruits provided that they are fully ripe.. juicy... vegies have been a real problem for me... salad greens have not sat well...canned vegies do better than fresh(yuck).. though i have been adding frozen peas to everything i can think of.. just to assure I get some vegies in Andie

I can eat pretty much whatever I want. I don't eat much potato though. Same with corn. Just a taste. I can not eat much salad either all though it goes down fine. I haven't had a problem with anything Ihave tried yet. I don't eat apple skin but I do eat grape skin. Just chew well.

I have to struggle to get all my protein in so usually don't have much room for fruits and veggies. EXCEP****ERMELON! I scare myself with how much watermelon I can eat. My other standby is cantaloupe. Doc says no fresh vegies until 4 months so I stick to cooked when I have them. Yellow squash is my fav. Connie

I am 2.5 mos. post op and eat all fruits and veggies. I eat them cooked or raw and mostly use fresh ones. Watermelon is very refreshing but at 50cal. per cup I have to be careful. I could eat 4 cups in one sitting, and probably more. Enjoy. Louise

I like oranges, strawberries, bananas, cantaloupe, honeydew. I can have apples, skinned. Everyone raves abou****ermellon, I haven't had it yet. ***Watch out for Grapes. They have a higher sugar content and I dumped on them. *** For vegetables, I can eat any of them if they're cooked. For raw so far I've really only had tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. Best of luck, Jen

I am eating almost any fruits/veg. Dr. says watermelon is great because of the water, low sugar and we can eat enough to satisfy the urge to eat. I haven't tried corn yet...too starchy. Nothing has bothered me yet.
