Fitday - Vitamin k?
I just love fitday.com I know I already said that but its helped me to break my little plateau! I just learned alot from it. Its amazing how hard it is to keep those fat levels down (even though alot is the "good fat") it still goes up quick when you are getting in so much protein ...Hey Dinka...did you notice on your "are you getting your nutrients" report on fitday.com that vitamin K is always through the roof?? I notice the RDA is like 800 and mine is always hovering around 3,000.... I forgot to ask the doctor about that because I read that...well that toxic levels (which I have NO idea what toxic levels are) but that higher doses can lead to dizzyness and other side effects and also they have researched it to link to osteoperosis because too much vitamin k disrupts the Vitamin D absorbtion. Please everyone keep taking your vitamins...I just was wondering if ya noticed those big ol' doses of vitamin k? Maybe its alright because you know... we absorb differently now??? just wondering what your thoughts are. By the by im down 54 pounds now and just so excited I want to run a marathon (not that my lazy butt would do that)
maybe after 10 more pounds
Dinka...Oh yeah and I noticed that selenium is always always on the low side...not meeting the requirements...didnt you mention something about that before?
