Walking?
I was told 30-40 minutes a day, whatever that is for each person. Someone at 300 lbs can't walk the same as someone at 160. I personally do 2.5 mles, or if the weather is bad, I do the 2 mile "Walking Off the Pounds" Video. I really like these videos, since they also address upper body with resistance training. The have a 1,2,and 3 mile video, so you can start out slower, and build up. Also, the 1 mile is 18 minutes long, so I used it for motivation. I could either do the exercise, or complain about not wanting to do it for 20 minutes, and then I could have been done with it, or I still had to do the 18 minutes after complaning about it. Needless to say, it was easier to just do the exercising. Hope this helps!
