I have a question for everyone, or anyone who can answer. I am having a hard time with my fluids, i find that there are times during the day when i have such an upset stomach that i can't eat or drink anything (usually in the morning) but then other times when i feel i could drink a whole glass of water or car options ice tea ( my new favorite drink in the world, this has replaced diet soda for me, and i never thought that would happen) but i am afraid to drink a whole glass because even though water goes through the pouch faster i really am not sure if it goes through fast enough to be able to drink that much that fast. So i just take a few sips and then a few more and then wait and by the time a half hour goes by im not so thirsty anymore and i find it hard to drink again. So i was wondering if anyone else was having this problem or if anyone had any suggestions on what i should do or if it is ok to drink a lot at one time. Sigh, thank you for any you could give me. Water won't stretch your pouch now that you are healed. If the water gets pressurized at all, it will just squirt through (or worst case, come back up!) Your pouch is tougher than the fluids. Try drinking a little more and see what happens. In fact, one of the techniques they teach for when our appetites come back is to drink as much as we can as fast as we can 15 min before eating. It will dull the appetite. Joy -43 lbs

I had problems with liquids early on. Its fine now though I can drink fast too. I still have that mental fear I am going to drink to much but I never do. In the morning, if I drink something (especially something cold) I notice I get an instant belly ache. But it goes away after a little bit. Its kinda like my belly isnt awake yet But I can drink rather quickly as well. I have also heard that liquids won't stretch your pouch...so drink away Elizabeth M -54lbs
