44 lbs...

Slowly but surely it is coming off. I happened to see a drop this weekend after I'd gone up in my calories a bit unintentionally, so I decided to do an experiment and see what happened. I'm going to try to eat 1000 calories or so every day for about a week and see what happens. Many people on the main board swear up and down that they started losing more when they upped their calories, so I'm going to give it a shot. I've been doing between 500-800 a day, so we'll see if this works. Still - I only have 6 more lbs until the half century mark. Hardly seems like I've lost anything by the way I feel though. I notice my clothing is looser and I'm into some smaller clothing, but I don't really feel much different. Isn't that odd? Oh well - I calculated it up based on my average weight loss per fitday.com and if I stay at losing 3 lbs a week I will only be down to 250ish by my birthday. I wi**** were lower, but I'll take it regardless. It will be around 75 lbs less than I started and at least I'll be able to fit into that new swimsuit!!! Dina

Hey Dina - I hit the same mark today: -44. It's been only a lb a week for the last 3 weeks, but it's better than going up a lb a week mgm

Hi Dina... I know what your feeling. It doesn't seem like I have lost any weight in the past two weeks. But, I noticed the same thing. When I uped my calories a bit (unitentinally, like you) I started to lose a little more. Of course I am not gonna lie when I say, they weren't the best of calories. I had some cheese nips, but boy were they good. I know, I kmnow, just get back on track, and I am. I have only lost a little more than you, SLOOOWWWLLLYYY.... this sucks. But, atleast it is coming off. Tomorrow I star****er aerobics.. I can't wait. Hopefully that helps too. Good luck with everything. Leah

Dina, You are doing great! I am a slower looser also. Its picked up since I started that fitday.com site! I am down 10 pounds this month. IF I can get in 6 more pounds this week (wishful thinking) I will be ecstatic! That will be a 60 pound loss. 20 a month (well the 1st 20 was the 1st week) so thats sorta cheating a bit but still it would average out to be 20 a week and I can definitely be happy with that. I noticed since I upped my exercise (a tiny bit) - im so lazy sometimes I swear... its really helped though just that tiny bit... so when I finally get my but into high gear I should really be good to go.
