quite the stupid question...

all right - i've completely put off asking this question because i am sure it is going to sound quite stupid. i kep****ching and hoping that someone else would ask, but no luck there. so here goes... when i got my staples out and my incision scabbed over, i rubbed neosporin on it a couple of times a day. now that it's completely healed, i've been putting "scar zone" on it a couple of times a day. whether or not this has anything to do with this i don't know, but my tummy (around my incision) is getting pretty darn furry. yes, furry... now, quit laughing, wipe your protein drink off of your monitors, and please someone tell me that this is normal and it will somehow magically disappear...??? or, at least tell me that i'm not the only one. kym

Kymber, I've got to say that this is a totally new one to me. It does occur to me that if you should start to lose hair, you may want to apply Scar Zone to your scalp. BTW, your new pic looks WONDERFUL! Connie

thanks connie! i was really hoping that i was not the only freak here. but, it kind of looks that way, eh? lol oh well... i got on the scale this morning and was down to 335 - that makes 71 pounds for me, so i guess that makes up for being a little furry. lol also, i was sorry to hear about your new guy. will people ever realize that it really is what is on the inside that matters? but, you know - if he was that much of a jerk, who needs him? i'm sure you want someone who will care about you enough to want you to be as healthy as you can so that you will have a long, happy life together and not just someone who is only there for the shape of your body. sorry to rant, but this guy even has ME pissed off this morning!! lol take care, kym

Kym i would say that it is probably because they shaved you even if you dont think you had hair they still shave you.

My incision is bald and smooth and looks like a giant worm crawled under it and lodged there so I have no answer - but at least LaRhonda's answer makes a lot of sense! -Sherrie
