I dreamed of the day I'd be under 200. Last Tuesday I woke to 199! BUT The scale has not moved since. I eat such a small amount I should have lost 4 or 5 lbs this week. I'm in ketosis all the time. I cut out all carbs. I eat threee extreamly small meals a day. Sometimes only three bites. My meal consist of cheese, turkey, SF pops, and chick peas. I'm having a hard time getting water in. I'm also EXAUSTED all the time. I got an iron infusion ten days ago. My iron is up to 9.7 (normal 11-15) and 30.9 (normal 36-48). This morning I'm back up to 200. Robin 247/200/130

Robin, You may not be eating nearly enough. In order to lose you need to be eating so your body doesn't think it is being starved. Hugs, Mo

I think all of us are experiencing this to a degree. The thing is, the day before yesterday I was completely wiped out. I was so miserable. And I knew my potassium was low, but also I kept going to the bathroom all day long. Well, if someone had told me I was full of **it I would have had to agree. Yesterday after yet another go I was finally down several more pounds. The exhaustion though I would continue to see the doctor about. Has he checked B1 levels as well as potassium? I was low in those and the iron. All of them cause energy issues. Anyway, try not to fret too much. I know it's rough, but you are really doing fantastic. You are way ahead of me on the loss and I'm WAY heavier than you. Everyone has to go through a plateau - or several - along the way. For me, I plateau except for 1x a month or so. Dina 325/285/150

If anything, keep up the protein and water. It really does help. Good luck with your iron levels. I just found out my iron was low, but not too bad. MY potassium on the other hand was quite low and I had to go to the ER to get some... Take care and be careful. Make sure you atleast try to get the things in your body that you need. Good luck! Leah

You need to add some beef if you can tolerate it. That will add iron and protein without carbs. Your diet is not sufficient in nutrients and your body is going into starvation mode where it preserves energy and slows down on burning calories. The weight loss will come if you supply the nutrition your body needs. Joy -39 lbs

Robyn, you also need to remember this is not a race...this is a life change. When was the last time you lost 47 pounds in two months? For me, NEVER! We need to be like tortoises...slow and steady to win the race.
